Lorena Primary School Where Every Day is a New Learning Adventure!! Your first adventure takes place each morning at 7:45 with assembly activities scheduled in the gym. You will be singing, exercising, and dancing. You will say the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge. We will recognize birthdays as well. Then, as you enter the Halls of Learning, your teacher will be leading your adventure on the TRACKS TO SUCCESS in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Your learning adventure will include centers, small group time, large group time, and individual learning time. Special learning adventures will be planned throughout the year from field trips to guest speakers to special classroom activities. The adventure continues as you take part in P.E., music, library and computer. During this part of your learning adventure, you will be learning games, singing songs, checking out books, and developing computer skills.
Parents, we would like to invite you to be a vital part of our learning adventures. You are welcome to meet us for lunch at the Little Leopard Café any day. Volunteers are always welcome ( a criminal history form must be completed before volunteering). If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 857-8909.
